Abstract

The New Testament (Philoxenian version) [http://syriaca.org/work/10536] is a revision of the New Testament (Peshitta version) [http://syriaca.org/work/70] commissioned by Philoxenos of Mabbug and made by Polycarp, chorepiscopus of Mabbug in 507 or 508. It survives only in quotations from Philoxenos of Mabbug's own writings and possibly in a version of the Minor Catholic Epistles and Revelation [http://syriaca.org/work/98] .1
