ܒܫܢܬ ܐܪܒܥ ܕܪܕܘܦܝܢ: ܐܬܬܚܕ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܝܘܚܢܢ ܐܦܣܩܘܦܐ ܕܐܪܒܝܠ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ: ܕܡܬܩܪܐ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܒܪ ܡܪܝܡ. ܘܝܥܩܘܒ ܩܫܝܫܐ ܥܡܗ: ܕܡܬܩܪܐ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܛܢܢܐ. ܘܢܦܠܘ ܒܝܬ ܐܣܝܪ̈ܐ ܒܚܣܢܐ ܕܒܕܝܓܪ ܥܕܢ ܒܥܕܢ: ܒܦܘܩܕܢܐ ܕܦܝܪܘܙ ܛܡܫܒܘܪ. 1
En la quatrième année de notre persécution, furent pris Jean, évêque de la ville d’Arbèles, appelé bar-Maryam, et avec lui le prêtre Jacques, appelé Zélote.Et ils furent emprisonnés dans la forteresse de Badîgar pendant une année, sur l’ordre de Fîrouz Tamshabour. 1
