“ܡܢܘ ܕܠܐ ܢܬܗܪ. ܒܝܠܕܟ ܫܒܝܚ ܡܢ ܟܠ. ܕܒܛܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܙܘܘܓܐ. ܘܝܠܝܕ ܕܠܐ ܦܘܫܩ. ܒܪܘܡܐ ܕܠܐ ܐܡܐ. ܒܥܘܡܩܐ ܕܠܐ ܐܒܐ. ܬܗܪܐ ܗܘ ܡܘܠܕܟ ܒܟܠܗܝܢ. ܕܟܕ ܠܐ ܫܪܝܢ ܛܒ̈ܥܐ. ܘܠܐ ܡܚܒܠܝܢ ܒܬܘ̈ܠܐ ܬܕ̈ܝܐ ܡܠܝܢ ܚܠܒܐ. ܕܬܐܝܢܩ ܠܙܐܢ ܟܠ.” 1
“Qui n’admirerait ta naissance des plus glorieuses? Car tu as été conçu sans union et enfanté de façon inexplicable, dans les hauteurs sans mère et dans les profondeurs sans père. Ton enfantement est absolument une merveille, car, sans que les sceaux aient été brisés et les signes de la virginité détruits, les seins ont été remplis de lait pour qu’elle allaite celui qui nourrit tout le monde.” 1
