“ܠܒܬܘܠܬܐ ܝܠܕܐ. ܫܡܥ ܘܠܐ ܡܫܪ. ܣܦܪܐ ܘܕܪܘܫܐ. ܕܚܐܪ ܟܝܢܐܝܬ. ܕܠܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܗܿ ܦܘܪܣܐ. ܕܢ̈ܠܕܢ ܒܬܘ̈ܠܬܐ. ܒܡܪܝܡ ܟܝܢܐ ܚܒ ܘܐܙܕܟܝ. ܕܒܬܘܠܬܐ ܒܛܢܬ. ܘܒܬܘܠܬܐ ܝܠܕܬ. ܘܐܘܪܚܐ ܗܝ ܕܠܐ ܡܫܟܚ. ܟܝܢܐ ܕܢܪܕܐ ܒܗܿ.” 1
“Le scribe et le docteur ont entendu la naissance virginale mais ils ne croient pas parce qu’ils considèrent qu’il n’est pas possible que des vierges enfantent; en Marie la nature a été inférieure et vaincue car vierge elle a conçu et vierge elle a enfanté; c’est là un chemin que la nature ne peut emprunter.” 1
