“ܠܐ ܗܘܬ ܗܟܝܠ ܒܨܝܪܐ ܡܢ ܬܗܪܐ̣. ܐܦܠܐ ܬܫܥܝܬܐ ܕܩܕܝܫܬܐ ܗܕܐ ܡܪܝܡ. ܐܝܿܕܐ ܕܒܟܝܢܐ ܒܠܚܘܕ ܕܡܘܬܐ ܫܩܝܠܐ ܗܘܬ ܕܢܩ̈ܒܬܐ.” 1
“Aussi l’histoire de cette sainte Marie ne fut pas non plus moins admirable, elle qui dans sa nature seulement portait l’apparence des femelles.” 1
