ܡܪܝ ܦܝܠܟܣܝܢܘܣ ܐܦܝܣܩܘܦܐ ܕܡܒܘܓ ܚܟܝܡ ܒܐܠܗܐ ܘܢܗܝܪ ܒܝܕܥܬܐ. ܗܘ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܡܪܝ ܐܟܣܢܝܐ ܕܡܬܛܒܒ ܒܟܬܒ̈ܐ. ܘܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܡܢ ܩܪܝܬܐ ܬܚܝܠ ܕܐܝܬܝܗܿ ܒܐܬܪܐ ܕܦܪ̈ܣܝܐ. 2
Mâr Philoxène évêque de Mabboug, sage en Dieu et brillant dans la science; il est Mâr Xénaias, connu dans les livres. Et il était du village de Tahîl qui est au pays des Perses. 1
