"ܗܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܪܒܢ ܓܒܪܐܝܠ̣. ܡܢ ܩܪܝܬܐ ܒܒܘܣܐ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ. ܩܒܠ ܕܝܢ ܐܣܟܡܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ. ܒܥܘܡܪܐ ܕܩܕܝܫܐ ܪܒܢ ܗܘܪܡܝܙܕ."1 "Ce Rabban Gabriel était du village de Babousâ; il prit le saint habit dans le couvent de saint Rabban Hôrmîzd."1
