“ܗܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܪܒܢ ܓܒܪܐܝܠ̣. ܡܢ ܩܪܝܬܐ ܒܒܘܣܐ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ. ܩܒܠ ܕܝܢ ܐܣܟܡܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ. ܒܥܘܡܪܐ ܕܩܕܝܫܐ ܪܒܢ ܗܘܪܡܝܙܕ.” 1
“Ce Rabban Gabriel était du village de Babousâ; il prit le saint habit dans le couvent de saint Rabban Hôrmîzd.” 1

“Il quitta cette vie temporelle le lundi après le dimanche de “dal‘idtak louqdam”, où est faite la commémoration de saint Rabban Bar Yaldâ, deux ans après la mort du Rabban. Que leur mémoire soit une source de bénédiction et que leurs prières soient sur nous. Amen.” 1
