Prologue

"Au nom du Père et du Fils et du Saint-Esprit, une nature, une essence, un vrai Dieu, non créé et non fait…"1 "ܒܫܡܐ ܕܐܒܐ ܘܕܒܪܐ ܘܕܪܘܚܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ. ܚܕ ܟܝܢܐ. ܚܕܐ ܐܘܣܝܐ. ܚܕ ܐܠܗܐ ܫܪܝܪܐ. ܠܐ ܒܪܝܐ. ܘܠܐ ܥܒܝܕܐ..."1

Incipit

"ܘܒܙܒܢܐ ܕܫܒܥܡܐܐ ܘܬܠܬܝ̈ܢ ܘܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܫܢ̈ܝܢ. ܓܒܪܐ ܚܕ ܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܒܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܕܫܡܗܿ ܩܘܪܘܣ. ܒܐܬܪܐ ܕܗܿܘ ܫܡ. ܐܬܪ ܕܡܠܟ ܕܘܝܕ ܡܠܟܐ. ܘܫܡܗ ܕܝܢ ܕܓܒܪܐ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܣܒܠܝܐ."1 "L’an 732, il y avait un homme dans la ville de Cyr, au pays de Syrie, où régna le roi David; et le nom de l’homme était Sabellius."1

Explicit

"Et il alla reposer avec ses pères et son héritage est avec tous les hommes craignant Dieu. Et nous aussi, que le Seigneur nous juge dignes… Amen."1
