Après que l’empereur croyant et ami du Christ Constance eut fini ses jours, qu’il eut été enterré près de son peuple en paix, qu’il eut été associé à ses pères et qu’il eut laissé un bon nom et une mémoire éternelle dans toutes les Églises sous les cieux, lui succéda à l’Empire l’impie et pervers Julien. 1
