“ܐܝܠܝܢ ܓܝܪ ܕܠܝܡܐ ܡܬܪܓܫܢܐ ܨܒܿܝܢ ܠܡܕܫ: ܥܠ ܝܘܬܪܢܐ ܕܩܢ̈ܝܢܐ: ܒܝܕ ܡܨܥܝܘܬܐ ܡܕܡ ܡܪܟܒܬ ܒܐܘܡܢܘܬܐ ܐܢܫܝܬܐ ܓܫܝܡܬܐ: ܬܥܕܝܪܐ ܠܨܒܝܢܐ ܕܡܚܝܠܘܬܗܘܢ ܢܣܒܝܢ.” 1

“Et partout où il y a une shkîntâ au nom de Mâr Sabâ, elle a été prise à ce monastère et à ces perles de ces martyrs qui y ont été couronnés. Faisons monter la louange, l’action de grâce et l’adoration… Amen.” 1
