ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܘܬܘܕܝܬܐ ܘܣܓܕܬܐ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܪܚܿܡ ܐܢ̈ܫܐ. ܗܿܘ ܕܦܬܝܚ ܬܪܥܗ ܒܟܠ ܙܒܢ ܠܬܝ̈ܒܐ. ܫܡܿܢ ܕܠܐ ܥܐܿܠ ܡܢ ܕܝܠܗ ܗܝ ܟܠܝܬܐ. 1
Gloire, action de grâces et adoration à Dieu qui aime les hommes, lui dont la porte est ouverte en tout temps pour les repentants et pour qui n’entre pas l’empêchement provient de lui-même. 1

Il y avait en Bithynie un homme qui avait une femme qui lui enfanta aussi une fille qu’il appela Marie 1

Et tous louaient notre Seigneur pour l’action et le signe accompli par celui qui donne une telle endurance à ceux qui l’aiment qu’elle tint bon ainsi jusqu’à la mort et ne révéla à personne qu’elle était femme. Nous aussi, mes bien-aimés, être pris d’émulation pour sa persévérance et son endurance virile pour que notre Seigneur nous donne avec elle de trouver grâce… pour les siècles des siècles. 1
