“ܥܠ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܡܪܝ ܐܘܓܝܢ ܕܢܨܒ ܥܘܡܪ̈ܐ ܒܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܐܝܙܠܐ. ܕܒܫܒܒܘܬ ܢܨܝܒܝܢ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ: ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܒܓܢܣܐ ܒܣܪܢܝܐ ܡܢ ܐܬܪܐ ܕܐܓܒܛܘܣ̣. ܡܢ ܩܠܘܣܡܐ ܓܙܪܬܐ.” 1
“Sur saint Mar Eugène qui établit des monastères dans les monts Izla dans les environs de la ville de Nisibe; il était par la race charnelle du pays d’Égypte, de l’île de Clysma.” 1
