Abstract

This collection of 123 letters was translated from Greek to Syriac in A.D. 669 by Athanasius of Nisibis. It comes from book six of a larger Greek collection of letters that circulated under the title The Select Letters of Severus of Antioch [http://syriaca.org/work/10542] . These were letters selected from a still larger collection of some 3824 letters called The Letters of Severus of Antioch . 3, 10
