Abstract

This Greek collection of letters by Severus is no longer extant. It contained a selection of at least 700 letters from the larger corpus called The Letters of Severus of Antioch [http://syriaca.org/work/10541] . This larger collection of at least 3824 letters is also no longer extant. We do have extant 123 letters in Syriac translation from one book of The Select Letters [http://syriaca.org/work/10542] , titled The Sixth Book of the Select Letters of Severus of Antioch [http://syriaca.org/work/10543] , edited and translated by E. W. Brooks. 1, 3
