"Jésus lumière, toi qui fais briller partout ton apparition, fais briller la lumière de ta grâce sur mes pensées."1 "ܝܫܘܥ ܢܘܗܪܐ ܕܠܟܠ ܣܘ̈ܦܝܢ ܕܢܚܗ ܡܦܨܚ. ܐܕܢܚ ܢܘܗܪܐ ܡܢ ܛܝܒܘܬܟ ܥܠ ܚܘ̈ܫܒܝ."1

"ܡܛܠ ܝܥܩܘܒ ܗܿܘ ܡܠܦܢܐ ܕܫܪ̈ܝܪܬܐ. ܕܠ ܒܝ ܡܐܡܪܐ ܠܡܬܡܠܠܘ ܒܚܘܒܐ ܪܒܐ."1 "Il m’est venu un discours pour parler avec grand amour de Jacques, ce maître de vérité."1
