“ܦܪܕܝܣܦܢܐ ܡܠܐ ܚܕ̈ܘܬܐ̣. ܐܝܢܐ ܕܦܐܐ ܠܚܙܬܐ ܘܪܓܝܓ ܠܡܚܪ ܒܗ. ܘܙܿܕܩ ܠܟܠܢܫ ܕܢܬܒܩܐ ܦܪܘܫܐܝܬ ܒܫܘܦܪ̈ܘܗܝ ܡܠܝ̈ܠܐ̣. ܕܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܐܓܘܢ̈ܐ ܕܬܟܬܘܫܐ ܕܐܢܫܐ ܓܡܝܪ̈ܐ ܘܐܠܗܝ̈ܐ. ܐܬܠܝ̈ܛܐ ܕܐܬܢܨܚܘ ܒܕܪ̈ܝܢ ܕܪ̈ܝܢ. ܘܗܘ̣ܘ ܢܘܗܪܐ ܒܥܠܡܐ ܘܡܚܙܝܬܐ ܒܬܒܝܠ.” 1
“Le jardinier qui est beau à voir et désirable à regarder est plein de joies; et il faut que tout le monde considère intelligemment les belles choses raisonnables, qui sont les combats de la lutte des hommes parfaits et divins, les athlètes qui ont triomphé de génération en génération et on été une lumière dans le monde et un miroir dans l’univers.” 1

“ܓܢܣܗ ܕܝܢ ܕܛܘܒܢܐ ܪܒܢ ܗܘܪܡܝܙܕ ܡܢ ܐܬܪܐ ܕܗܘ̈ܙܝܐ. ܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܠܦܛ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ. ܕܗܝ ܫܝܪܙ. ܐܒܗ̈ܘܗܝ ܕܝܢ ܕܛܘܒܢܐ ܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܗܘܘ ܟܪ̈ܣܛܝܢܐ ܫܪܝܪ̈ܝ ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܗܘܢ.” 1
“La famille du bienheureux Rabban Hôrmîzd était originaire de la région du Khouzistan, de la ville de Beyt Lapat qui est Shîraz. Les parents du bienheureux étaient des chrétiens à la foi véritable.” 1

“Et les années de la vie du bienheureux sur terre se montent à 85 ans, 20 ans dans le monde, 39 ans dans le saint monastère de Rabban Bar ‘Idtâ, 6 ans dans le monastère de Rîshâ, 22 ans dans le sien. Que Dieu, qui l’a fait triomphé dans les hauteurs et dans les profondeurs et dont la beauté et la splendeur de la vie a brillé dans la sainte Église… et que la gloire monte vers le Père, le Fils et l’Esprit Saint des deux Églises spirituelle et corporelle, maintenant, en tout temps et dans les siècles des siècles. Amen;” 1
