"ܘܗܘܐ ܒܫܢܬ ܥܣܪܝܢ ܘܚܡܫ ܕܝܘܟܢܝܐ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܝܗܘܕܐ: ܗܘܐ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܥܠ ܒܪܘܟ ܒܪ ܢܪܝܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ: ܚܙܝܬ ܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܕܥܒܕ ܠܝ ܥܡܐ ܗܢܐ: ܒܝ̈ܫܬܐ ܕܥܒܕܘ ܗܠܝܢ ܬܪܝܢ ܫܒ̈ܛܝܢ ܕܦܫܘ ܝܬܝܪ ܡܢ ܥܣܪܐ ܫܒ̈ܛܝܢ ܕܐܫܬܒܝܘ."1 "Et il advint en l’an 25 de Jéchonias roi de Juda, que la parole du Seigneur arriva à Baruch fils de Nérias et il lui dit: «As-tu vu tout ce que me fait ce peuple, les mauvaises choses qu’on faites ces deux tribus qui sont restées, plus que les dix tribus qui ont été emmenées en captivité?"1

Et maintenant, ne sois pas dégoûté et ne dévie pas à droite ni à gauche, mais vole et va par une voie droite, pour garder le commandement du Tout-Puissant comme je te l’ai dit."1
