"ܡܬܕܡܪܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܡܢ ܟܠ ܦܪܘܣ ܒܦܘܩܕܢܐ ܕܫܢܝܘܬܐ ܕܗܪܘܕܝܣ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܫܒܪ̈ܐ ܗܿܢܘܢ ܕܠܐ ܥܕܠܝ. ܡܛܠ ܟܝܬ ܕܐܦ ܥܕܟܝܠ ܬܚܝܬ ܬܕܐ ܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܗܘܘ. ܕܦܣܩܐ ܚܪܡܐ ܕܡܘܬܐ ܡܝܬܐ ܗܘܐ."1 "Vous vous étonnez de toute manière de l’ordre fou d’Hérode contre les enfants innocents, parce qu’ils étaient encore à la mamelle, ordre qui apporta la décision criminelle de la mort."1
