“ܡܬܕܡܪܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܡܢ ܟܠ ܦܪܘܣ ܒܦܘܩܕܢܐ ܕܫܢܝܘܬܐ ܕܗܪܘܕܝܣ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܫܒܪ̈ܐ ܗܿܢܘܢ ܕܠܐ ܥܕܠܝ. ܡܛܠ ܟܝܬ ܕܐܦ ܥܕܟܝܠ ܬܚܝܬ ܬܕܐ ܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܗܘܘ. ܕܦܣܩܐ ܚܪܡܐ ܕܡܘܬܐ ܡܝܬܐ ܗܘܐ.”1 1
“Vous vous étonnez de toute manière de l’ordre fou d’Hérode contre les enfants innocents, parce qu’ils étaient encore à la mamelle, ordre qui apporta la décision criminelle de la mort.”1 1
