"ܠܕܘܒܪܐ ܡܿܢ ܕܐܢܛܘܢܝܘܣ ܗܿܘ ܐܠܗܝܐ ܫܘܝܐܝܬ̣. ܐܬܢܣܝܘܣ ܗܿܘ ܪܒܐ. ܗܿܘ ܓܒܪܐ ܫܠܝܚܝܐ ܘܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܠܗ ܒܗ ܕܡܡܠܠ. ܪܕܘܝܐܝܬ ܐܟܚܕܐ ܘܬܫܥܝܬܢܐܝܬ ܐܟܬܒܗ."1 "La vie du divin Antoine, le grand Athanase, homme apostolique et qui avait le Christ parlant en lui, l’a écrite dignement de façon instructive et en même temps narrative."1
