"ܒܙܒܢܐ ܓܝܪ ܕܘܐܠܢܣܛܝܘܣ ܡܠܟܐ: ܒܪܗ ܕܪܚܿܡ ܐܠܗܐ ܝܡܝܢܝܢܘܣ ܡܿܠܟܐ. ܗܘܘ ܠܘܠܢܛܝܘܣ ܒܢ̈ܝܐ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ. ܘܒܪܬܐ. ܡܟܣܝܡܘܣ ܘܕܘܡܛܪܝܘܣ. ܡܪܒܐ ܗܘܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܒܘܗܘܢ̣. ܒܟܠܗܿ ܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܢܟܦܘܬܐ."1 "Au temps de l’empereur Valentinien, fils de l’ami de Dieu l’empereur Jovien, Valentinien avait deux fils, Maxime et Domèce, et une fille; leur père les éduquait dans la crainte de Dieu et la pureté."1
