“ܒܙܒܢܐ ܓܝܪ ܕܘܐܠܢܣܛܝܘܣ ܡܠܟܐ: ܒܪܗ ܕܪܚܿܡ ܐܠܗܐ ܝܡܝܢܝܢܘܣ ܡܿܠܟܐ. ܗܘܘ ܠܘܠܢܛܝܘܣ ܒܢ̈ܝܐ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ. ܘܒܪܬܐ. ܡܟܣܝܡܘܣ ܘܕܘܡܛܪܝܘܣ. ܡܪܒܐ ܗܘܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܒܘܗܘܢ̣. ܒܟܠܗܿ ܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܢܟܦܘܬܐ.” 1
“Au temps de l’empereur Valentinien, fils de l’ami de Dieu l’empereur Jovien, Valentinien avait deux fils, Maxime et Domèce, et une fille; leur père les éduquait dans la crainte de Dieu et la pureté.” 1
