"ܛܘܒܝܟ ܣܒܐ ܕܐܬܢܨܚܬ ܕܨܘܡܟ ܓܙܐ ܕܥܘܕܪ̈ܢܐ ܨܠܘܬܟ ܣܝܡܬ ܣܡܡ̈ܢܐ ܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܥܝ̈ܢܝܟ ܗ̈ܘܝܢ ܠܟ ܡܥܡܘܕܝܬܐ ܕܚܘܣܝܐ."1 "Heureux es-tu, vieillard, toi qui as triomphé, car ton jeûne fus un trésor de secours, ta prière un réservoir de remèdes, tes deux yeux furent pour toi un baptême de propitiation."1
