“ܚܒܝ̈ܒܝ: ܬܫܥܝܬܐ ܗܕܐ ܕܩܕܝܫܐ ܬܐܘܕܘܪܘܣ: ܠܐ ܙܕܩ ܠܢ ܕܫܚܝܡܐܝܬ ܘܐܝܟ ܠܐ ܡܕܡ ܢܫܡܥܝܗܿ.” 1
“Mes bien-aimés, nous ne devons pas écouter simplement et comme si ce n’était rien cette histoire de saint Théodore.” 1

“En tout temps saint Théodore supplie Dieu pour les pécheurs, guérit les malades qui se réfugient en lui et il est le port des affligés et le repos des gens agités. Par ses prières, avec celles de tous ceux qui ont plu à Dieu… et tout le peuple des orthodoxes, qu’ils obtiennent miséricorde au jour du jugement. Amen. Je vous supplie, moi faible pécheur, qui ai écrit selon ma misérable force, de prier pour moi le Seigneur distinctement.” 1
