ܒܫܢܬ ܬܠܬܝܢ ܘܬܪܬܝܢ ܕܪܕܘܦܝܢ: ܐܬܬܚܕ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܝܥܩܘܒ ܩܫܝܫܐ ܕܐܣܦܪܓܠܬܐ ܩܪܝܬܐ: ܘܐܙܕ ܡܫܡܫܢܐ ܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܢܓܪ̈ܐ: ܡܢ ܐܝܕܝ̈ ܟܘܪܟܫܝܕ ܡܘܗܦܛܐ ܕܚܕܝܒ: ܘܐܬܐܣܪܘ ܫܒܥܐ ܝܪ̈ܚܝܢ ܒܐܪܒܝܠ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ. 1
En l’an 32 de notre persécution, Jacques, prêtre du village d’Espragaltâ, et le diacre Azad de Beyt-Nagaré furent pris par le chef des mages d’Adiabène Kourkashîd, et ils furent emprisonnés sept mois dans la ville d’Arbèles. 1
