"ܒܙܒ̈ܢܐ ܗܢܿܘܢ: ܕܒܗܘܢ ܡܡܠܟ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܡܟܣܡܝܢܘܣ ܗܘܿ ܪܫܝܥܐ ܘܥܢܬܐ: ܒܗܓܡܘܢܘܬܐ ܕܡܪܩܝܢܘܣ ܗܓܡܘܢܐ: ܗܘܐ ܪܕܘܦܝܐ ܪܒܐ ܥܠ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܟܪ̈ܣܛܝܢܐ. ܐܝܬ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܓܒܪܐ ܚܕ ܪܒܐ ܒܐܬܪܐ ܕܐܠܝܘܦܘܠܝܣ ܒܩܪܝܬܐ ܕܫܡܗܿ ܕܠܣܘܢ: ܘܦܪܝܩܐ ܡܢ ܐܢܛܝܘܟܝܐ ܡܝ̈ܠܐ ܬܪܥܣܪܐ: ܘܫܡܗ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܕܝܘܣܩܘܪܘܣ."1 "En ces temps-là où régnait Maximien cet impie inique, et où Marcien était gourverneur, il y eut une grande persécution contre tous les chrétiens. Il y avait un homme important dans la région d’Héliopolis, dans un village appelé Dalasôn, à douze milles d’Antioche; le nom de cet homme était Dioscore."1
