“En ces temps-là où régnait Maximien cet impie inique, et où Marcien était gourverneur, il y eut une grande persécution contre tous les chrétiens. Il y avait un homme important dans la région d’Héliopolis, dans un village appelé Dalasôn, à douze milles d’Antioche; le nom de cet homme était Dioscore.”

“Alors que descendaient de la montagne le père de la sainte et ce gourverneur tyran qui l’avait tuée, le Seigneur fit tomber sur eux des grêlons, il les tua et les perdit et le cadavre d’aucun d’eux ne fut retrouvé dans toute cette région.
