"ܝܘܚܢܢ: ܐܦܣܩܘܦܐ ܕܟܪܟܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܣܠܘܟ: ܐܬܩܛܠ ܒܚܨܝܢ ܩܪܝܬܐ: ܒܦܘܩܕܢܐ ܕܐܪܕܫܝܪ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܚܕܝܒ."1 "Jean, évêque de Karkâ de Beyt-Selôk, fut mis à mort dans le village de Hasîn, sur ordre d’Ardashîr, roi d’Adiabène."1
