“ܢܐܬܐ ܡܟܝܠ ܠܬܫܥܝܬܐ ܕܢܨܚܢ̈ܘܗܝ ܕܛܘܒܢܐ ܦܘܠܘܣ. ܗܢܐ ܕܝܬܝܪ ܡܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܠܐܝ ܐܝܟ ܡܠܬ ܪܘܚܐ ܕܡܠܠ ܒܗ: ܘܪܗܛܗ ܫܠܡ: ܘܬܫܡܫܬܗ ܢܛܪ: ܘܚܠܦ ܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܢܘܩܝܐ ܕܕܡܗ ܐܬܐܫܕ ܠܬܪܥܘܬܐ ܕܚܠܦ ܡܪܥܝܬܗ...”1 1
“Let us therefore approach the story of the great deeds of the blessed Paul, the one who more than them all labored, as the word of the Spirit that spoke in him . . .”1 1

“He was a Hebrew, from the tribe of Benjamin, of the sect of the Pharisees. He was trained in the law before the feet of the cultivated teacher Gamaliel.”1 1
“Il était donc juif, de la tribu de Benjamin, de la secte des Pharisiens. Il étudia la loi chez le savant docteur Gamaliel.”1 1

“And thus from the multitude of their disciples, jealousy from the Jews, the crucifiers, was aroused, and secretly at night they cut down these trees.”1 1
“À tel point que le grand nombre de leurs disciples excita la jalousie des juifs crucifieurs, qui coupèrent ces arbres furtivement pendant la nuit.
