"ܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܓܝܪ ܓܒܪܐ ܚܕ ܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܠܚܡ ܕܝܗܘܕܐ. ܕܫܡܗ ܗܘܐ ܨܕܘܩ. ܘܐܢܬܬܗ ܫܡܗܿ ܗܘܐ ܕܝܢܐ. ܘܬܪܝܗܘܢ ܙܕܝܩܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܩܕܡ ܐܠܗܐ."1 "Il y avait en effet un homme de Bethléem de Juda qui s’appelait Sadôq et dont la femme s’appelait Dînâ; tous deux étaient justes devant Dieu."1

"ܘܟܠ ܕܚܙܘ ܠܚܘܝܐ ܫܒܚܘ ܠܐܠܗܐ. ܘܕܣܓܝܐ̈ܢ ܡܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܣܥܪ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܒܨܠܘ̈ܬܗܿ ܕܡܪܬܝ ܡܪܝܡ ܕܝܠܕܬܗ. ܘܒܨܠܘ̈ܬܗܿ ܢܬܢܛܪ̈ܢ ܥܕ̈ܬܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ. ܡܢ ܒܝܫܐ ܘܚܝܠܗ ܐܡܝܢ. ܘܒܨܠܘ̈ܬܗܿ... ܘܠܥܡܐ ܕܟܪ̈ܣܛܝܢܐ ܫܝܢܐ ܘܫܠܡܐ ܐܡܝܢ. ܘܠܐܠܗܐ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܘܥܠܝܢ ܪ̈ܚܡܘܗܝ ܘܚܢܢܗ. ܘܥܠ ܟܠ ܕܩܿܪܐ ܘܡܦܫܩ ܐܝܢ ܘܐܡܝܢ."1 "Et tous ceux qui virent le serpent louèrent Dieu; et le Christ fit encore plus de choses par les prières de sainte Marie sa Mère. Par ses prières que les Églises du Christ soient gardées du Mauvais et de sa puissance. Amen. Et que par ses prières… paix et prospérité au peuple des chrétiens. Amen.
