ܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܟܠܡܕܡ ܢܘܕܥ ܐܬܪܗ ܘܡܘܠܕܗ ܘܙܢܐ ܟܠܗ ܕܬܪܒܝܬܗ: ܘܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܡܢ ܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܕܓܒܬܗ ܘܥܡܪܬ ܒܗ. 1
Tout d’abord faisons connaître son pays, sa naissance, et la façon dont il fut élevé et d’où vint la grâce qui le choisit et demeura en lui. 1

Ou qui pourra descendre dans la mer immense de sa vie sublime, chercher et ramener la perle de grand prix incrustée dans la couronne du roi puissan ? Le Christ qui l’a fait triompher dans tous ces exploits et dons ineffables, nous l’implorons, lui demandons et le supplions que règnent sa paix et sa prospérité aux quatre coins de la création pour les siècles des siècles. Amen. 1
