ܓܒܪܐ ܐܝܬ ܒܪܘܡܝ: ܕܫܡܗ ܗܘܐ ܐܘܦܝܡܝܢܘ. ܘܗܠܝܢ ܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܙܟ̈ܝܐ ܐܝܟ ܐܒܐ ܠܒܝܟܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܗ. 1
Il y avait à Rome un homme qui s’appelait Euphémianos, et ces rois victorieux le considéraient comme un père. 1

ܘܡܪܕܐ ܟܠܝܘܡ ܚ̈ܘܠܡܢܐ: ܘܐܣܝܘܬܐ ܠܟܠ ܕܐܠܝܨܝܢ. ܨܠܘܬܗ ܫܘܪܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܠܢ: ܒܟܠܥܕܢ ܐܡܝܢ ܘܐܡܝܢ. 1
Et chaque jour il fait couler santé et guérison pour tous ceux qui souffrent. Que sa prière soit pour nous un rempart en tout temps. Amen et amen. 1
