"ܠܐܠܝܡ ܕܥܕܬܐ ܥܠܬ ܗܘܝܬ. ܘܬܪ̈ܬܥܣܪܐ ܥܝ̈ܢܢ ܚܙܝܬ ܗܘܝܬ. ܘܐܫܟܚܬ ܬܪܝܢ ܘܫܒܥܝܢ ܕܩ̈ܠܝܢ. ܕܣܓܝ ܪ̈ܓܝܓܝܢ ܘܛܒ ܫܦܝܪܝܢ. ܘܡܢ ܦܐܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܩܛܦܬ ܠܝ. ܘܡܢ ܚܠܝܘܬܗܘܢ ܐܬܒܣܡܬ ܠܝ. ܘܠܒܢ̈ܝ ܥܕܬܐ ܫܦܪܬ ܠܝ. ܕܐܬܠ ܗܘ ܡܐ ܕܐܫܟܚܬ ܠܝ."1 "Je suis entré dans le portique de l’Église; j’ai vu douze sources et j’ai trouvé soixante-douze palmiers très désirables et très beaux; j’ai récolté pour moi de leurs fruits, j’ai profité de leur douceur et il m’a plu de donner aux fils de l’Église ce que je m’étais trouvé."1
