"ܐܝܬ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܓܒܪܐ ܚܕ ܒܪ ܥܠܡܐ: ܘܨܒܐ ܕܢܗܘܐ ܕܝܪܝܐ. ܘܐܝܬ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܠܗ ܒܪܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܙܥܘܪܬܐ ܘܡܦܝܣܐ ܗܘ̣ܬ ܠܗ ܠܐܒܘܗ ܕܢܕܒܪܝܗܿ ܥܡܗ ܠܕܝܪܐ ܕܓܒܪ̈ܐ."1 "Il y avait un homme laïc, et il voulut devenir moine. Et il avait une petite fille qui suppliait son père de la prendre avec lui au monastère des hommes."1
