"ܘܐܬܐܘܝܘ ܗܝܕܝܢ ܟܪ̈ܣܛܝܢܐ ܘܓܒܘ ܒܛܘܫܝܐ ܠܡܪܝ ܐܒܪܗܡ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܗܘ ܢܕܒܪ ܠܥܕܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܒܙܒܢܐ ܕܝܘܚܢܢ ܦܠܚܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܒܝܬ ܐܣܝܪ̈ܐ."1 "Alors les chrétiens s’accordèrent et élirent en cachette Mâr Abraham pour administrer l’Église de Dieu aussi longtemps que le serviteur du Seigneur Jean serait en prison."1
