“ܘܐܬܐܘܝܘ ܗܝܕܝܢ ܟܪ̈ܣܛܝܢܐ ܘܓܒܘ ܒܛܘܫܝܐ ܠܡܪܝ ܐܒܪܗܡ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܗܘ ܢܕܒܪ ܠܥܕܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܒܙܒܢܐ ܕܝܘܚܢܢ ܦܠܚܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܒܝܬ ܐܣܝܪ̈ܐ.” 1
“Alors les chrétiens s’accordèrent et élirent en cachette Mâr Abraham pour administrer l’Église de Dieu aussi longtemps que le serviteur du Seigneur Jean serait en prison.” 1
