"ܠܪ̈ܚܡܝ ܩܘܫܬܐ ܨܒܝܬ ܕܐܩܠܣ ܒܟܬܝܒ̈ܬܐ: ܕܠܐ ܟܒܪ ܢܐܒܕ ܫܡ ܕܘܟܪܢܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܝܬܒܬܐ."1 "J’ai voulu louer les amis de la vérité par des écrits pour que ne disparaisse pas de la terre le nom de leur mémoire."1
