Maphrian of Tagrit, successor and
biographer of Marutha of
Tagrit.
In hagiography: Denha I was a monk of the
monastery of Mor
Matay. He was a disciple of Marutha of Tagrit and the
hagiographer of his life. He became the Maphrian of the Syrian Orthodox
Church in the Sasanian
empire in 649.
