“Il méprisa la mort, se leva et coupa la main droite du saint; et le jour même il reçut le châtiment de la mort. Et ils ramenèrent le corps de Mâr Gabriel à sa place et le placèrent dans une caisse de bronze avec les apôtres. Nous supplions le Christ de répandre sa miséricorde et sa pitié sur le lecteur et sur le scribe… et de notre bienheureux Père le plus illustre en vertus Mâr Gabriel. Amen.”
