"Je pense qu’il est utile d’aborder l’histoire de la maison d’Adam pour être aidés par l’histoire d’Abel le juste."1 "ܣܒܪ ܐܢܐ ܕܥܕܪܐ ܕܢܬܩܪܒ ܠܘܬ ܬܫܥܝܬܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܕܡ ܐܝܟ ܕܢܬܥܕܪ ܡܢ ܫܪܒܗ ܕܗܒܝܠ ܙܕܝܩܐ"1

"ܗܒܘ ܠܝ ܓܝܪ ܗܘܢܝ̈ܟܘܢ ܡܠܐ ܥܕܢܐ ܐܘ ܫܡ̈ܘܥܘܗܝ ܕܫܪܪܐ. ܘܐܣܝܡ ܫܪܒܗܘܢ ܩܕܡܝܟܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܬܘܩ̈ܢܐ ܒܣܝܡ̈ܐ."1 "Donnez-moi vos esprits un moment, auditeurs de la vérité, et j’exposerai devant vous leur histoire comme une oeuvre agréable."1
