"ܐܘ ܬܐܘܡܐ ܐܝܢܘ ܛܘܗܡܟ. ܕܗܢܐ ܟܠܗܿ ܬܐܢܨܚܬ. ܬܓܪܐ ܐܝܬܝ ܓܪ̈ܡܝܟ. ܐܦ ܟܗܢܐ ܙܘܚܐ ܥܒܕ ܠܟ. ܐܦ ܡܠܟܐ ܗܝܟܠܐ ܒܢܐ ܠܟ."1 "Thomas, quelle est ta race pour que tu brilles à ce point? Un commerçant a amené tes ossements, un prêtre t’a fait une procession et un roi t’a construit un temple."1
