"ܣܿܠܩ ܗܘܐ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܩܝܣܐ. ܘܐܝܟ ܚܠܫܐ ܐܨܛܠܒ. ܘܒܙܩܝܦܘܬܗ ܥܒܕ ܗܘܐ. ܐܬܐ ܫܒܝܚܬܐ ܕܬܗܪܐ. ܬܪܥܘܗܿ ܠܕܦܢܗ ܒܪܘܡܚܐ. ܘܐܫܬܝܘ ܡܢܗ ܣܗܕ̈ܐ. ܘܕܫܘܗܝ ܠܡܘܬܐ ܛܪܘܢܐ."1 "Jésus monta sur le bois et fut crucifié comme un homme vil; et dans sa crucifixion il a fait un signe digne de louanges et merveilleux; ils ont ouvert son côté avec une lance et les martyrs y ont bu et ils ont foulé aux pieds la mort tyran."1
