“ܒܫܢܬ ܬܠܬܡܐܐ ܘܚܡܫܝܢ ܘܚܕܐ ܒܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܪܚܡ ܐܠܗܐ ܩܘܣܛܢܛܝܢܘܣ ܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܩܕܝܫܬܐ ܘܡܚܝܢܝܬܐ ܕܪܘܚܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܐ ܐܫܘܝܬ ܠܡܗܝܡܢܬܐ ܗܠܢܐ ܐܡܗ ܕܝܠܗ ܕܩܘܣܛܢܛܝܢܣ ܠܡܘܗܒܬܐ ܪܒܬܐ ܘܡܝܬܪܬܐ.” 1
“En l’an 351 du règne de l’ami de Dieu Constantin, la grâce sainte et vivifiante de l’Esprit Saint jugea la croyante Hélène, mère du même Constantin, digne d’un grand don de valeur.” 1

“Et elle ordonna à tous ceux qui croient dans le Christ, hommes et femmes, de faire mémoire de la découverte de la Croix d’année en année tant qu’ils vivraient. Et que tous ceux qui connaissent la croix et la commémorent aient une part avec Marie la bienheureuse Mère de Dieu dans les siècles des siècles. Amen.” 1
