  2. En l’an 30 du césar Claude, Simon Pierre quitta Antioche pour aller à Rome. Et en passant il annonçait dans les pays la parole de notre Seigneur. Et quand il fut près d’y entrer, beaucoup l’apprirent et sortirent à sa rencontre et toute l’Église l’accueillit avec grande joie. 1

  2. Et de nombreuses années après le grand couronnement des apôtres qui avaient quitté le monde, alors que le pouvoir de leur sacerdoce prospérait dans toute Rome et dans toute l’Italie, il arriva qu’il y eut une grande famine dans la ville de Rome. 1
