“ܡܢ ܒܬܪ ܝܘ̈ܡܬܐ ܕܣܘܠܩܗ ܕܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܠܫܡܝܐ. ܟܕ ܐܬܡܠܝܘ ܝܘ̈ܡܬܐ ܕܦܢܛܩܘܣܛܝ. ܘܐܬܐ ܦܪܩܠܝܛܐ ܠܥܠܝܬܐ ܕܨܗܝܘܢ. ܘܐܬܡܠܝܘ ܫ̈ܠܝܚܐ ܩ̈ܕܝܫܐ ܡܢ ܡܘܗܒܬܐ ܕܪܘܚܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܐ. ܗܘܐ ܨܒܝܢܐ ܠܟܠ ܚܕ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܕܢܦܩܘܢ ܘܢܟܪܙܘܢ ܣܒܪܬܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ.”1 1
“Après les jours de l’Ascension de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ au ciel, quand les jours de la Pentecôte furent accomplis, que le Paraclet fut venu dans le chambre haute de Sion et que les saints apôtres furent remplis de l’Esprit Saint, chacun d’eux eut la volonté de sortir et de proclamer la bonne nouvelle du Christ.”1 1
