À moi qui auparavant désirait voir ce lieu saint et le temple du martyr Thallélaios, et embrasser son tombeau d’athlète couronné chaque jour par de nombreux miracles et des guérisons de maladies en tous genres, celui qui est la cause de tous le biens m’a donné une occasion propice. 1

ܢܦܬܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܐܦ ܚܢܢ ܠܡ̈ܐܢܐ ܕܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܘܢܥܒܕ ܐܢܘܢ ܚܕ̈ܬܐ. ܟܕ ܡܕܟܝܢ ܚܢܢ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܒܝܫܘܬܐ ܥܬܝܩܬܐ̣. ܘܠܐ ܒܙܥܘܪܘܬ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܢܐܠܘܨ ܐܢܘܢ̣. ܘܠܐ ܢܚܣܪܘܢ ܠܢ ܡܬܘܡ ܪ̈ܚܡܘܗܝ ܕܣܗܕܐ. ܘܫܘܒܩܢܐ ܕܚܘ̈ܒܬܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܡܢ ܚܛܝܬܐ̣. ܒܡܫܝܚܐ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܪܢ. ܠܗ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܠܥܠܡܝܢ. ܐܡܝܢ. 1
Élargissons donc nous aussi les vases de la foi et rendons-les neufs, en les purifiant de l’antique méchanceté; et ne les resserrons pas par notre peu de foi. Et la miséricorde du martyr ne nous fera jamais défaut, ni la remise des dettes du péché, par le Christ Jésus notre Seigneur; à lui la gloire pour les siècles. Amen. 1
