ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܕܨܒܬ ܠܥܕܬܗ ܒܩܕܝ̈ܫܘܗܝ. ܘܡܠܗ̇ ܥܘܬܪ̈ܐ ܘܣܝ̈ܡܬܐ ܕܓܪ̈ܡܝܗܘܢ. 1
Gloire à Dieu qui a orné son Église de ses saints et l’a remplie des richesses et des trésors de leurs reliques. 1

Comme Dieu eut pitié de son peuple et voulut les aider, il éveilla l’esprit de l’empereur Justinien et il tissa dans sa pensée le projet que les patriarches et les évêques examinassent la parole de la foi devant lui et en sa présence. 1
