“ܛܘܒܢܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܗܢܐ ܬܐܘܕܘܪܐ̣. ܒܦܠܚܘܬܐ ܪܒܬܐ ܕܒܦܠܛܝܢ ܕܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ. ܟܕ ܡܢ ܠܘܩܕܡ ܡܫܡܫ ܗܘܐ ܠܓܒܪܐ ܪܒܐ ܕܩܕܡ ܐܠܗܐ. ܘܐܦ ܒܝܬ ܒ̈ܢܝ ܐܢܫܐ ܪܒ ܗܘܐ ܕܫܡܗ ܡܝܫܐܝܠ.”1 “Ce bienheureux Théodore occupait une fonction importante dans le palais impérial, ayant servi auparavant un homme grand devant Dieu et grand parmi les hommes, appelé Michel.”1
