“ܟܕ ܗܟܝܠ ܐܦ ܒܚܕܐ ܡܢ ܬܫܥ̈ܝܬܐ ܩܕܡ̈ܝܬܐ: ܥܘܗܕܢܐ ܥܒܕܢ ܕܫܪܒܐ ܕܬܫܥܝܬܗ ܕܛܘܒܢܐ ܪܒܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܐܒܘܢ ܩܫܝܫ ܐܦܝܣܩܘܦܐ: ܟܕ ܐܦ ܟܕܟܝܠ ܒܚܝ̈ܐ ܕܒܦܓܪ ܥܡܢ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ...”1 “Comme dans une des histoires précédentes nous avons fait mention du récit de l’histoire du grand bienheureux de Dieu notre Père l’évêque Qashîsh, alors qu’il était encore corporellement en vie avec nous…”1

“ܕܒܨ̈ܠܘܬܗ ܥܡ ܕܟܘܠܗܘܢ ܩܕ̈ܝܫܐ ܡܪ̈ܥܝܢܘܗܝ ܕܡܪܝܐ̣. ܟܠܢ ܢܬܚܢܢ ܒܝܘܡ ܕܝܢܐ̣. ܘܕܝܪܐ ܕܩܒܠܬ ܣܝܡܬ ܓܪ̈ܡܘܗܝ: ܥܡ ܫܪܟܐ ܕܥ̈ܕܬܐ ܘܕܝܪ̈ܬܐ ܕܩܝܿܡ ܒܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܥܠܡ̈ܐ̣. ܢܬܩ̈ܝܡܢ ܠܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܕܬܠܝܬܝܘܬܐ ܩܕܝܫܬܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܚܪܬܐ.”1 “Par ses prières et celles de tous les saints propitiateurs du Seigneur, puissions-nous tous obtenir miséricorde au jour du jugement; et que le monastère qui a reçu sa châsse avec les autres églises et monastères qu’il a érigés au nom du Seigneur Dieu des mondes soient établis pour la gloire de la sainte Trinité jusqu’à la fin.”1
