“ܛܘܒܢܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܗܢܐ ܐܒܪܗܡ ܣܒܐ̣. ܒܓܢܣܗ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܡܢ ܐܬܪܐ ܕܨܘ̈ܦܢܝܐ. ܡܢ ܩܪܝܬܐ ܕܡܬܩܪܝܐ ܦܠܢܝܬܐ.” 1
“Ce bienheureux vieillard Abraham était originaire du pays de Sophanène, d’un village appelé ‘un tel’.” 1
